History

Seattle Blue is a family-run business owned and operated by Ken Jakobsen and Kathy Boone-Jakobsen. Together, they have over 60 years of experience working in law enforcement. Scheduling uniformed police officers is their passion! Kathy started scheduling officers in 1985. She has provided officers for most, if not all, of the major construction companies in the greater Seattle area. Kathy is still an active officer with the Seattle Police Department Parking Enforcement Unit and her husband, Ken, is a retired Seattle Police Officer.

Seattle Blue started providing uniformed police officers for traffic control in 2012. Since then, they've provided officers for large projects in Seattle and around the Puget Sound.
